We will be finding out. I've done it both ways surprise and knowing. The surprise was lovely, but these days I just want to know.

As for gender preference, I think a little girl would great for youngest dd as they would be close in age, but I think it's a boy.

We'll be finding out. Since DH left and probably won't be back for the scan, I get to dream up ways to announce to him. Silver lining to my rain cloud :0)

I keep going back and forth on this issue. I have a boy and I have a girl, so part of me wants to just be surprised. But, the other part of me wants another boy so I am eager to see if that is what we get.

I plan on finding out too. I have no patience to wait for things like that, lol.
I am hoping for a little girl, as are all of my boys. they are all dying to have a little sister to spoil, lol.
I saw a nub like penis at 13 weeks with my last two and they were confirmed later on, so it is possible to have a good idea at 12/13 weeks. Google angle of the dangle if you want to read up on it.

We will not be finding out here either. I am sort of hoping for a boy. I already have a son and he is pretty easy now that he is older, and I would be happy if they could share a bedroom. SO is positive this is a girl. I am so scared of dealing with the emotional craziness of a teenage girl (I was extremely difficult) and also with the insane pressure that society puts on girls to act, dress, behave, etc. I know it is similar for boys, but the crazy clothing that is way too adult IMO, and the pressure to be thin and the non-stop marketing of *princessy* stuff would make me INSANE. I know we would be fine, but I am definitely rooting for a boy.

We will be finding out in October. We are staying Team Green. We did last time and it was wonderful. I really just want a happy baby but would prefer a boy. I really think it is a boy. I got the boy feeling shortly after we found out i was pregnant. I was right with DD so I'm hoping I'm right again!!

We will hopefully be finding out on Friday. Although it will just be the doctor's educated guess, apparently he is rarely wrong. his tech is supposed to be the best. I wanted to wait and read teh results of the doctors prediction along with the MaterniT21 results together in 2.5 weeks but Dh does not want to wait to hear the doctor's prediction, so we will be hopefully finding out the doctor's educated guess on Friday, and then in two weeks we will know better when we get the MaterniT21 results. DH can't wait at all. I thought maybe doing something fun like a baker baking a cake with the color in the middle would be fun and we should wait a day or two for the results and do that but he does not want to wait.

Dh wants a boy and I don't really care. Either would be cool to me

Sounds a lot like my doc, he is rarely wrong either with his early gender predictions. My DH is also very impatient about waiting, but he wants a little girl, lol.
