Oh good, glad they happen to other people, too! Then it's not just me going crazy! It was so weird, after DD was born, and I would feel exactly like I was being kicked, but I KNEW it couldn't be. Crazy gas or something, I guess. She was born 2 years ago, but I've had those "phantom kicks" ever since then. So I think this time around it'll be really hard for me to distinguish between those and the real kicks I'll eventually be feeling.
It happened to me too. It's so crazy because I'm like "Oh, the baby just... no... the baby isn't in there anymore..." It was like the twilight zone! And even just the other night, I woke up and said to my husband "This baby is ROLLING around!!" It felt just like when my daughter was rolling around (and we could visibly see her rolling! so creepy) and when I was asleep that is what my brain told me. My husband said no way, it's barely the size of a raspberry LOL and I was describing movement from when my daughter was in there nearly full term. It was definitely a very large, very painful (and ultimately very stinky ) gas bubble.
I haven't felt this baby yet, but I have been feeling my insides rearrange themselves. Awful tightness and stretching feelings from my abdominal muscles. I can't wait to feel the baby move though.

Thank You, Pattyandthemoos, for my beautiful siggy!
