I cannot stop eating oranges. I have always liked them, but now I can't stop eating them! Oranges, mandarin oranges, clementines... I seriously eat a ton of them a day! And I keep wanting more! I googled them and found out they are high in folic acid, so I guess that's good at least! But I'm convinced I will be birthing a 7 lb orange in October. I'm even considering picking up some citrus-flavored toothpaste the next time I'm at Target, just because mint seems so disgusting to me now, and with all the acidity from the oranges, I think I'll need to brush my teeth more!

So is there an old wives tale about this or something? This is certainly a new craving for me. I guess it could be worse... like french fries! I don't think I'm deficient in Vitamin C, but who knows.

Thanks for popping back in!!! I'd be super excited if it was a girl... but I know DH is hoping for a boy, and my son said he wants a brother (since he already has a sister). I guess we'll see in a couple months.

I was craving oranges like crazy at the beginning. I HAD to have at least 3 or 4 a day, but it has tapered off some. I still like orange flavored things though which is strange for me, lol.

My grandma said that both with my mom and my aunt she craved and ate a tone of different kinds of oranges!

Me too, but just real oranges, still don't like orange-flavored candy. I hope it means I'm having a girl!

I was told I'd be having a Chinese kid with my first one. Wouldn't you know she came out with dark, slanted looking eyes. lol It took a bit for everything to round out, but for a few seconds I thought, "Holy crap, they told the truth!"

I eat clementines every day and sometimes up to 10 of them. I started drinking oj last week before bed with my iron pill ( I'm anemic). To my surprised I didn't throw up and it's now my go-to drink.

I never craved this in my other pregnancies. It's crazy!!!
