Full time student at the moment. Before the stick turned blue I was headed into the National Guard. I'm still undecided when I'll re-enlist. Perhaps I'll wait until after my degree and go in as an officer instead. Baby will be about 4 by then. Or... I might go in just after a year. I really don't know.

I'm an IS Analyst. I work full time, but I have some flexibility in my schedule--normally work a normal M-F schedule.
I will return to work after maternity leave. Being on call will be interesting, but it is only every 5 weeks for a week at a time.

I work full time, 40 hours a week

What are your plans after baby?
I get a 6 week maternity leave and then back to work. Wish I could stay home, but I make more money than DH does, so I know that isn't possible

I am currently a student, doing my student teaching for the next 6 weeks. After that I will be a SAHM again.

I'm a SAHM.

My degree is in Child Development. I do plan to work at some point in the future. I'm not sure if I will go into teaching. I've thought strongly about doing graphic design and partnering with my DH who is a software engineer. I like that I could do that at home and still be available for the kids.

Right now I am on maternity leave for my son. In Quebec we get a year paid and have the option to take an additional year not paid.
Since I am pregnant again they will pay me an additional year and then I have drcided to go back to work. I also havethe option to work part time.

I work full time as a leasing consultant. I am not sure what I will do since the baby comes. Not working is not an option for me but I may be able to cut back to 4 days a week:-) I do get paid 12 weeks maternity leave this time so that will be nice.

I have always thought this was SO awesome. I wish we did that here in the US too.

We both work full time, I wish I could stay home but it wouldn't be feasible for us at all..... I teach so I have the Summers off !!!! I'll go back to work in Sept work a few weeks and then I'll take my 6 weeks and use accumulated time in order to stay out until the 1st of the year... So I'll be out from Oct-Dec

I've always been a SAHM, but I'm planning to do the office administration program online come jan or sept 2014. I'd like to start working once this baby is older. I feel like I've let DH carry the financial burden alone for way too long.

I am a SAHM and because DH works so much I think that is what my job will be for the foreseeable future, someone needs to be able to get the kids to and from their activities and DH doesn't get home until 630-7 every night.

Lots of diversity here

I'm a SAHM. I used to be a WAHM for 4 years until September, then I watched my friends baby until December. It's been 3 months of being a true SAHM. I haven't decided what I'm gonna do yet though. I'm trying to do some more work from home until baby gets here. Eventually I think I'd like to work outside the home after the baby turns one.

I am a part-time college student and full-time daycare provider. It's been really hard doing daycare, keeping up with the house. I am SO tired.

I have been a WAHM for 9 years now, working in PR as a consultant, but hoping to be a SAHM after the baby arrives. My husband is an accountant and if he gets a good enough raise, we are going to try it out. Super nervous and no idea how we will afford it, but it is my dream...
