If you don't know what it is, check out some of the videos on YouTube.

My result was girl. I did it purely for entertainment purposes, I want to do as many of the old wives tales as I can before I find out the gender--just for fun.

Yes! I did it earlier and my results were GIRL. I already have a son and am hoping for a girl so I'm crossing my fingers that there is some truth to it.

Mine fizzed up like I poured beer in a cup, so for me it came up boy which excites me because I have 2 girls already. I'll know in another couple of weeks.

Mine came up girl.

Should we put of a gender prediction thread before we all start finding out what we are having?

I think about it everyday at work and then forget when I am at home. Also which is the correct way to do it? Should you dissolve 1 spn baking soda in half cup water and mix half cup urine to it? OR just take some urine in a cup and dump a spoonful of baking soda in it OR place a spoon of baking soda in a cup and then pour the urine into it?

Look at videos on YouTube. I only watched one, but it told/showed what to do.

I had enough pee to do the test 3 times. I tried it with varying amounts of each to see if it effected the result of fizz vs no fizz.

All the tests I had zero fizz. Not even a little. It was like apple juice.

Girl

Maybe we should have a page started for those that already know what they are having - I believe two ladies on here have found out already. Maybe something like Team Pink, Team Blue and Team Green and then as people find out their names go under it?

I did it and got girl.... but alkalinity/acidity of pee I think has a lot to do with diet and hydration. If you eat an acid-forming diet aren't you more likely to have acidic urine? same goes with if you're taking a lot of vitamin C... that's acidic. idk about this one, but I hope it's right!
