Some lady working at Chipotle asked me how many were in there, then told me that she hoped I was due soon - "Uhhhh...Just one and I'm due in September." I turned 3 shades of red from being so freaking embarrassed!
I'm guessing maternity clothes accentuate rather than minimize the belly.
I admit........ I love when people ask me about my belly I just love talking to anyone about it. I especially love the reactions towards the end when I say it's only one and I still have 3 weeks But I haven't been asked yet this time. Doesn't help we are still in sweatshirt/sweater weather.
It is going to be 85 degrees here today, so I definitely have short sleeves on.
I remember when I was pregnant with my last one I was walking down the hall here at work and one of the "big" supervisors asked when I was due. I told him I was due in 4 days. He was shocked that I was still at work. He actually asked me what I was doing here, lol. I told him it was my last day before maternity leave. It was humorous though to see the look on his face when I told him my due date was so close.
I only look preggo wearing certain things, like yesterday after getting the kids from the bus I put on a summer dress cuz I was so hot, and i was afraid the kids were gonna say something about my belly lol.
I get too embarrassed when people ask when I am! The last lady that did was 6 months along. Her belly is smaller than mine. =P I still get so much bloating from the acid reflux. Just makes me so freaking gassy and huge looking.
That's great. Everyone is so nice when you are pregnant. People let you cut in line at the grocery store, they wave you across the street in the parking lot, they open doors and help you lift stuff. Bring on the "when are you due" comments!
I think I actually look less pregnant now than I did a month ago because I am less bloated and have lost a few pounds. I'm just happy I can say I am pregnant if someone asks since two people last summer asked me if I was pregnant when I wasn't.
I'm wearing maternity clothes this week, and they are spring/summer like, so I have a defined little belly. Wonder when I will get a comment!
My sea bands are also exposed, since I don't need a jacket this week. I hate how they look and hope I can quit wearing them soon!
