My appointment last Friday went really well! Baby is measuring a few days ahead and that put us at exactly 11 weeks. The heart rate was measuring in the mid 180's...doctor wasn't concerned but of course I had to start googling it and now I've become concerned. Is this too high for 11 weeks? I used my Doppler this morning as soon as I woke up to see if there would be a differnece and it was high 160's. maybe we just caught baby in an active time at my appointment? Anyone else have high heart rate babies? I started getting concerned about chromosomal issues so I thought I'd ask...

At 11 weeks I had a scan done and the heart rate was 180, baby was moving tons too, so I'm sure that had something to do with it. I also googled it when I came home because it sounded high, but I didn't find that it meant anything. If the doctor isn't concerned I wouldn't worry about it.

I had my ultrasosund yesterday and baby is measuring two days ahead. Heartrate was 178 BPM. The tech told me it was totally normal because baby is still small. It will slow down as the pregnancy progresses.
Hang in there!

I'm trying not to look into too much since my doctor wasn't concerned. I just see these other posts about HB's in the 160-170 and mine seemed pretty high.

I think that is just fine. I have read that anything up to 190 in the early stages is totally normal.

I think it's easy for us to work ourselves up into a good worry over things we read on google. If your dr. wasn't worried then neither should you. My baby measured a week behind and had a HR of 177, and my dr wasn't worried. I don't think 180 sounds high, I think it sounds like it might be a girl.
