Since we know it is a boy, I am so ready to get started on the nursery. Yes, it will lay empty for now, but I just love all the details. Has anyone started picking colors or themes? I am so clueless after having 2 girls. Is yellow and blue too girly? I love teal but also might be too girly.

Would love any ideas!

I have been looking online at all different nursery ideas, boy, girl, gender neutral, etc. Trying to get a feel for what I like. I really love the color gray, and I am thinking of doing gray with either teal or pink, obviously depending on what baby is. And then white furniture. I wish our doctor would let us find out sooner than 20 weeks.

I have my NT scan next week, and since I am measuring 8 days ahead, I *should* be 14 weeks then, and I am hoping that maybe, just maybe, they can give me a hint! I'm sure it will be WAY too early, but I'll ask anyway!

We are team green so we are going to paint the nursery yellow and gray. My husband thinks yellow is girly but he is just crazy!

I don't think blue and yellow are too girly at all. they are very nice, subtle colors that will suit a boy very well. I haven't really thought of anything like that yet.

We are team green, and haven't decided on nursery colors yet. We're trying to buy a house so we're not exactly sure where we will be living when baby is born at this point.

Teal can definitely be either way IMO! We aren't doing a nursery, but I have been wanting to paint my kids' rooms. DD2 has been assigned purple by DH and me, DD1 is dark pink. DD2 will share her room no matter what since DD1 needs her room to be Autism Land so purple is now out. I was thinking a moss green. Good neutral color for either, and we should be able to sell the house easily with a moss green room.

The room is already a nice shade of tan with white trim. It's really light and sunny and cozy in there. Since I imagine we'll be selling the house in a couple of years I'm not changing the color, plus it should work with any nursery theme. I am redoing the guest/ baby bathroom so still mulling over what I want to do in there.

The nursery is jungle themed with a tree painted on one wall. I had the accent color a muted green for my 3 year old when it was his room so ill just keep that since this baby is also a boy.

We were planning on painting our daughter's room yellow anyways and they are going to share, and yellow seems gender neutral enough that I think we'll go for it. My 18 week ultrasound is right before Memorial Day, when my husband is going to paint, so hopefully we'll know the gender.

This baby is going to share a room with someone so no nursery for me to decorate. We just built out house last year abs haven't painted anything yet so I do get to decorate. If its a girl she will be in with my middle daughter who wants a yellow and green room and if its a boy he will be with my son who wants a blue room. So I guess I have my color schemes picked out for me.

Even though we don't know what we are having yet I've been on pinterest and googling ideas I have. I'm thinking light creamy grey walls with a mint wall (accent wall) and that's the wall the crib will go against. Of course I'm just thinking this now ... may change once we know the gender, but we'll see
