So summer is here (somedays!) and I'm moving so I was going through my clothes deciding what I can stretch/what will fit..
I tried on these shorts I thought would still fit since they did last year.
They did not.

Anyone cleaning out their closet for summer yet?

We are still having winter weather, so not cleaning out just yet! I did wash a bunch of spring and summer maternity this week and I'm going to have to find room for it. I know spring is coming soon (I HOPE!!!) but I can't put away my long sleeves and sweatshirts yet! DH is going to go nuts with all of the clothes in our room over the next month or so, but I wanted the stuff washed and prepared, because you just never know

We still have snow on the ground, but I am planning on cleaning out my closet this weekend. I am going to put away non-maternity pants that I know won't fit me until after birth, and give away pants and shirts that haven't fit me for the past year anyway and I know I'll never wear again.

Yep, I've been cleaning out the kids' closets and trying to figure out what I can wear. Sears had a deal buy 1 get 1 50% off, so I got a new bathing suit since my maternity one I've had since being pregnant with #1 11 years ago! I bought a pair of shorts and a few tops for work. I don't have many casual tops though but I hate paying much for those.

I pulled out spring/summer stuff for the kids but I haven't even thought about it for me yet.

All my stuff is mixed in since here we get weird warm/cold days in weird seasons. I've had 2 other summer babies (July, September) and never bought maternity shorts... but I'm thinking this year I will. Other than that I'm looking forward to wearing some nice knit or cotton skirts.

I WANT to clean that thing out! It's full of my husband's crap. I fold all of my clothes into my dresser, and I go through them regularly. I should get a space saver or something and take the winter stuff out just to make it a little more organized.

I desperately need to do it because we are transitioning from summer to winter here. It's a big job though, so I keep putting it off!

I was just looking at my dresser drawers and thinking I need to clean these out! It's still pretty cold here, but hopefully in another two weeks or so it'll be beautiful.

I just did it tonight - I did the whole bedroom, in fact, in one big overhaul.

My winter and summer clothes aren't that different, so it's not a huge deal for me really. I just use jackets in the winter and omit them in the summer. Gotta love California.

I realized I have a lot of decent clothes and accessories that I have just been too lazy to use - I guess I have a thing for the look of heels - I have like 20 pair which I scarcely wear because they hurt, and I like to walk in place of using a car where possible.

Sometimes I think I should just have an auction and unload the stuff.

I just took 3 Big storage containers containing myclothes took them out, then washed, sorted, and folded all sizes (from 2T-7) boys' clothes to put in them. It's awesome, I won't have to buy much boy's clothes until my youngest is like 8! It was also very depressing because I found about 10 pairs of jeans ranging in size from 1-11. I used to be a size 1. ugh. I'll be happy with a size 7 after this pregnancy, but my metabolism has gone to **** since turning 30.

I did the big closet cleaning this week. Packed all the cute summer clothes away that will not fit until next year and made a little list of a few items I will need for the heat. Lots of room in the closet now!

im depressed in that I have no tee shirts, I need maternity shirts... I hate the thought of spending money of them though when I will never use them again.
