In 2010, it was a 10 year gap for me too and it totally was like being a new mom! This time since we're having another girl, I'm thrilled I have all the big stuff, a lot of clothes will carry over and there isn't anything we have to have that we're missing!
A little bit. My "baby" will be 4 in September so getting back in the mindset of what to do about diapering/sleeping arrangements/feeding is a total shift. They have a lot more cooler things out now than even 4 years ago.
I remember even just going from my 1st to my 2nd a lot changed between just the 2 years!

Yup. I got rid of everything so we are starting from scratch. The only things I have is a bumbo seat cuz I didn't actually toss it out, and my moby wraps cuz they were packed away when we had our yard sale.
I have definitely felt like we are starting from scratch as we got rid of a lot of stuff when we moved. But then we didn't buy a whole lot in the first place. (My DD is 4 now). The whole new born thing seems like it was so long ago...I am almost going to have to re-leard everything.
I do! My son is going to be almost 4 when baby is born so it hasn't been that long since I went through it. It sure does feel like it though. I have been browsing online for baby products or replacement parts for things I already have and nothing is the same. The other day I had to do an internet search to figure out when the second trimester started, you would think I had never been pregnant before!
My "baby" is 12, so it's been a long time for me! Each day I'm being reminded of things that pop up in pregnancy that I'd long since forgotten about, and I am totally lost in the baby section of the stores - they've come up with so many new gadgets that I'm completely confused now.
