I am lookin for some airtight canisters/contaners to store the following:

Rice flour
Corn Flour
chic pea flour
white lentil flour
semolina (its like very fine quinoa or cous cous)
pasta

I need all of these to be transparent, so that I can tel how much is left, the mouth should be wide so I can scoop out easiliy, should be airtight and should be about 10 inches tall with 5 inches diameter. Can someone help me find some resaonably priced ones that meet the above conditions? Gosh I am so sick of having my pantry filled with bags of stuff. And my head spins whenever I try to shop for these. I need them all to be the same size - therefore those sets wont work for me. Help please!!

Thanks!

Check on the Tupperware website. I have their canisters that came in a set, but I know they sell food storage containers individually to meet your sizing needs.

I like Pop containers. They are clear bpa free plastic. They have a button on the lid that you push to release the airtight seal. They come in a million sizes. I know they have them at the container store but i've also seen them at bed bath and beyond.

I have the Tupperware set too. It's solid white and a clear window near bottom so you can see what's inside and when it's running low.

I store all of the above in these: http://delightfulorder.blogspot.com/...e-storage.html

They're great because I keep them in my lazy suzan, so I just roll that thing around, scoop out what I want, then pop the lid back on. They came from Walmart and are about $10 each. If that's not what you're looking for, you may have success at Bed Bath and Beyond or at Ikea if you have one near you.

are these things you want sitting out on your counter or just your cupboard? I had those big rectangle like cereal containers I use for my sugar, flour and such, and just wrote on the outside with a sharpie.
