I am totally rearranging my entire living room right now! Might not sound like a big deal, but my DH has OCD. He's like a big child, doesn't like change! lol I have never rearranged my living room. We've lived in this house for 5 years now. I can't take it anymore! I used to rearrange my entire house once a month when I lived alone. I don't understand how people can stand being in the same arrangement for more than 6 months.

Next time he has an early shift, he'll be coming home to a different bedroom.

I do to do that too! Although my house is setup to not be friendly with it the way our living room is only allows for furniture to be placed one way really.

Happy movig! Don't work too hard!

Rearranging is the way I used to keep my house clean. You move everything around once a month, and things are put up and floors are kept clean. I couldn't believe the things I found under the couch! Pieces of toys whose other halves have been trashed long ago. Socks, of course. More than one dead bug. =P

We have a large living area so I floated furniture to make a lobby and a den. I want a large area now. I've been feeling so incredibly claustrophobic. Not any more! I will say the first arrangement was more aesthetically pleasing, but this one is more open. I'll fine tune it as days go on.

You will have to let us all know what his reaction was. Mine never notices when I rearrange anything. I could move the bed into the kitchen and he'd be oblivious to it. Lol

He doesn't get home for another 2 hours, but I'm betting the reactions will be:

"Oh, what the hell?!"

I can only put my couch 2 ways in my living room, and the rest of the furniture has its spot based off of where the couch is. But I love how it feels so clean when you move the furniture!

Hope he likes it! Remember, it will be your fault if he stubs his toe when walking around in the dark because YOU moved the furniture. LOL!

That's fun! I used to do this too when I lived alone. Now I have to wait until the Christmas tree is brought in for it to feel different. We are getting rid of the rug and bringing in a new faux cow hide ottoman/ coffee table this week. Now THAT will really change things up for us! I'll post pics.

Too funny! He can either change it back himself or get used to it!

I love moving furniture around - I got injured in a car accident though (I was stopped and someone was texting and plowed into me! what a drag.) and my back gets wonky if I move furniture so I have to be a furniture dictator - no getting things by OCD DH
