How are you doing on saving for baby? Is there anything particular you're saving for now?

We aren't really saving for the baby, just slowly buying the items we need before baby gets here. I'm kind of at a stand still until I know the gender.

We're still saving for the birth. I have about 300 more to save to pay it off in full so we're almost there!

We put an offer on a house and it got accepted so we are just kind of saving for all the little things we will need to do once we close on it. Alarm syatem, hurricane shutters... I comsider the house for the baby since we live in a two bedroom now.

Moving in with parents (nomad style between in laws and mother and father) while DH deploys to save A LOT of money (hopefully!) If I can keep my sanity, it will be worth it.
Also doing a CD and a special savings plans just for deployment so hoping to have just a little extra coming from those.
Otherwise, having a baby shower so we can get free stuff hopefully and not being afraid to get free things!

We aren't saving for anything as of now, although it would be a good idea. Maybe start saying the $200 for the u/s to find out what baby is soon!!

I'm at a stand still too until the gender scan and probably the anatomy scan. The first big thing I'll be getting is a travel system, followed by a swing, then crib. I'll buy little things like outfits, receiving blankets, burp cloths, etc. here and there until the birth.
