I'd been wanting to try for a few months but we were technically going to wait til May/June to try... Well I'd bring it up with all sorts of positives for trying ealy. One day DH came home, said I've been thinking that we really should take advantage of or awesome insurance while we still have it ( we are planning on moving in the near future) and that was all he needed to say.

I was dressed in sexy clothes puttin on all the moves in a jiffy, lol. Had to make it good so he wouldn't change his mind!! He said its amazing how much effort you put into it when I say the word baby. Lol.

very unplanned but we did nothing to prevent it either so it was bound to happen eventually.

Jenn, I wasn't excited at all last time. Different reasons, but I can understand.

Welcome surprise for us. We were NTNP, but didn't think anything would happen. I got pregnant over Thanksgiving, and with an 8 day lp, miscarried. This one was conceived whenDH wanted sex one day. Only time that cycle. I told him to get it over with. I didn't even orgasm. 8 days later, I got my "period." Bled 6 days. Positive pregnancy test the day after!

Big BIG BIG surprise... I just had a baby in October and AF hadn't returned. And DH and I had only DTD like twice since baby. (tmi )
Had horrible cramping the end of Jan, thought for sure AF was going to show. Nothing. Tested Feb 2nd...negative. Joined the gym that day.
feb 4th I woke up exhausted, thought I was coming down with something, late evening I started to get nauseous, decided to test just in case.... and voila...preggo.

Surprise, though we weren't preventing the best.

I had a chemical in October. We weren't trying, really, but not really responsible the previous month. It was an early chemical - had I not taken the test the day I did, I'd never have known. My cycles seemed wonky after that, though my periods got back on schedule. I still felt off, but I wasn't charting so we assumed I was regular again. We simply tried to be careful around ovulation times....

....which doesn't matter when you ovulate 1 1/2, 2 weeks past when you thought.

I'm pretty sure the night in question involved weekend drinks and me kicking arse at video putt putt.

Planned/surprise. We began to ttc in October. I did 3 cycles of Soy, because it had worked for several friends. It worked the first 2 months and no ovulation the third month. I had a long chat with my doctor, I didn't want to continue the soy because it was unmonitored and soy can mess with your fertility. He didn't feel comfortable prescribing Clomid at the level it had taken me to get pg with my daughter, but agreed on half my previous dose and I promised I would go see my RE. I got in with the RE a week later, he did an u/s and thought he may have seen the corpus leuteum. We did blood work for genetic screening, clomid prescription and planned for an IUI.
I spent the next few weeks stalking FF in hopes that my O days would correspond with DH's day or so it would be less of a hassle to get him there for the IUI . I ended up being 1 day late before I realized AF hadn't arrived. I was in shock for the first few weeks!

You know to be completely honest- all of our kids were surprises!!

God is soo good to us. And he keeps blessing us with kids- even though we try NOT to LOL...but I can honestly say This is the first pregnancy that i feel completely alright with- very positive

all my others- i would inspect ever wipe for blood, freak out over every little twinge or twang, worry how are we going to do this, am i going to loss this one etc etc but this time i have this calm/peace about it all.

now dont get me wrong when this kid is born i will have a 11, 3, & 2 yr old but I am sooooo HAppy!!!

We had talked about having another together {mine is 13, his is 9, we miscarried together and have a 2 year old together} but didn't plan this baby. Not trying yet and still trying to avoid ovulating time.

Definitely happy when there was a but still surprised!

My husband was exactly the same...surprised but happy.

This is is for us and when "they" say you know it's your last, I knew my daughter wasn't. I KNOW this is. It's peaceful.

We have been very blessed with fertility conceiving three times without trying and we do not take that forgranted at all.

Very planned. We started in July (but had to wait for AF, so technically in August of '12) right after we got married in June. I have delayed ovulation so it takes a little longer for a full cycle for me. I was temping and charting and using opks. We got pregnant the first cycle and that ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks.

Then I waited a cycle because I had to get testing done (hormone and repeated loss testing - it was my second miscarriage total). The next cycle was annovulatory, so that sucked.

Then I ovulated super early and got pregnant. It ended up being a chemical and I had a very painful but lighter period.

My doc had me see an RE and we got on progesterone, lots of folate, and baby aspirin (was already on then had to switch to lovenox).

We did not wait a cycle in between. I could not handle wasting another cycle.

So we tried and got pregnant again and now I am 16 weeks pregnant with Jane

I still feel a little detached from this pregnancy only because I feel like I still have a little bit of the "waiting for the other shoe to drop" feeling that comes with repeated losses. I know once she is in my arms, it will be so different

Very planned after about a year of TTC naturally. It took us 19mos including 4mos of fertility treatments to get pg with #3, so this time it was welcomed to get pg on our own and without help.

Planned Surprise. We started trying last October with no luck till January. It took 10 months and a m/c to concieve my daughter so it was a huge surprise when it only took 4 months this time. We got pregnant the last month we were TTC before a 6 month break. Everything happens for a reason!

Planned. I temped, charted from June and we started trying in August I think? But we kept missing the window for some reason...oh yeah I remember now...I was trying the Shettles method for boy & was trying to time it to the Day of ovulation. But We kept missing it for 3 cycles. Then in late Nov, early Dec we travelled to India to visit family and were so jetlagged and were staying in our BILs tiny two bedroom apt with MIL, FIL also staying with us. DTD was out of the question. Finally I got AF on Christmas eve Melissa(Soul_donut) we must have been cycle buddies and I threw Shettles method out the window and DTD everyday from when AF stopped. Bam BFP on 11DPO! I was a freak and tested with blood diluted with urine on 10DPO and got a bfp but didn't really believe it until 11 DPO when I got a true bfp with good old urine

I love reading about all our beginings! Even the ones that took at little getting used to.

My hubby and I had been trying for about 18 months. We got pregnant a month into it, long ago without any help but lost it 9 weeks in. It then took us about a year to get pregnant again..that one to ended, but this time super quick. Then we were still having trouble and clomid was not working with just a regular OB so we moved to a RE. She helped us again quick with Famera and timed intercourse. We lost that one too. It was Dec 8 and we were about 9 weeks in again. We were going to keep trying, but I needed to have a regualr unmedicated cycle so I was waiting and waiting and waiting...it never came. I called the doc and said AF was still not here (mid Jan)...she asked me to come in and make sure everything was out from the last MS. Everything was out and HCG was below 0. She said I would get AF in about a week since my blood work showed I had ovulated. Week later and nada...I peed on a stick and Holy moly....I was pregnant! AGAIN! It took me awhile to accept it and Im still having trouble bonding due to fear or losing another, but we have named him and I love him sooooo much. We have faith this is it.

So, this was planned, but way surprised!

Back in March 2012 we decided we would NTNP, we conceived on the first cycle, I got my BFP in April only to m/c a few days later. Then in May I got another BFP, m/c again and for the rest of the year I kept getting BFN's so at the beginning of Jan I thought maybe we're not meant to have another baby and gave all the baby toys and stuff away (except the crib!) and ended up pregnant in the beginning of Feb. It really surprised us but we're also very happy about it!
