I went in for a quick check-up to check on my nausea and weight gain. It was good - I gained .8 pounds in the last 3 weeks, so I am going in the right direction (although I started this pregnancy 15 pounds heavier than last one, so I don't want to gain toooo much weight). I got to hear the heartbeat though. It was 160, and you could hear some kicks too. It was nice to get reassurance, although because of my stupid insurance each midwife visit costs $200 out of pocket.
I am feeling a little better, but still nauseous at times. I'm definitely not someone who loves being pregnant
Fortunately there is some limit to how much I am required to pay out of pocket each year (maybe $10,000) so at least I won't go completely broke. I miss my old insurance where I think I only paid about $100 for the whole pregnancy.
