Back from the doctor. She thinks that I may have a UTI and some kind of strep. Group B Strep I think she said. She wants me to take it super easy this weekend just in case that isn't what it causing my lower back/abdominal pains. I have to call them Monday morning to get the test results if they don't call me first. She said baby looked great, heart rate normal, measuring normal, cervix long and closed tight

I was treated for BV on June 7th. I had to take 7 days worth of pills. I assumed the infection was/is gone. I noticed just now when I went to the bathroom that I have some brownish colored discharge, almost like there is old blood in it. Not a whole lot, just a little bit, and much more discharge than usual. I have also noticed that she has not moved as much today as she normally does. I called the doc and they want me to come in at 2:45 today. I don't THINK I am feeling any unusual cramping, or braxton hicks, but right now it is hard for me to tell the difference of her head moving and up high in my ribs and BH's.

Just try to keep us in your thoughts today that nothing is wrong.

Oh and I have NOT had sex for quite a while (talking a couple of months here, lol), so I know it can't be irritation from that.

Sending tons of thoughts and prayers your way! Keep us posted and I know it's not going to happen but try to remain positive and try to stay calm. I hope your precious girl is doing just fine in there

Thank you. I am just hoping that maybe they didn't get rid of the infection and that is what is causing the spotting.
I am really trying my best to stay positive. I just want her to start moving again more.
At least I am at work right now, so if something does happen then I am much closer to the hospital than I am when I am at home.

Good! Why not try drinking something sugary? Like a coke or pepsi? It might get her tiny butt moving and grooving around in there and lessen your concern a little? Hope it helps!

I drank half of a can of Pepsi. She has moved some, so that puts my mind at ease a little bit. Now I just need to see what is causing the spotty discharge. Keeping my fingers crossed that the RX didn't totally get rid of the BV and that is all it is.

I've had that for a month now. I thought it was the sack fusing but when I got the new diagnoses Tuesday I was confused. I asked if it was an infection but with no other symptoms she said its just old blood and no worries unless it turns red.

to me it sounds like the infection hasn't gone away... I don't know why they don't check you after giving antibiotics for stuff... I had a UTI but no symptoms took their antibiotics still no symptoms, how do I know if it is gone? Drives me nuts...
sorry soap box there... I wouldn't worry too much, but I am glad you are getting it checked out. You know just like after baby is born they go through these bouts of lots of sleep before or after a growth spurt, that is probably why she isn't moving as much... at least that would be my guess.
