I had my 24 week appointment yesterday. Susan's heart rate was 150. I gained 10 pounds in a month. I still have slightly elevated blood pressure. I need to eat better I guess lol but I'm back up to my pre-pregnancy weight. I skipped the glucose test until next appointment because they had me waiting for an hour and should have had it already ordered like they told me they would. So that means next appointment on the 31st, I'll be doing that. Not excited.
In happier news, DH is home from the boat this year, we're pretty sure. He's decided, without me asking (surprised at that) he wanted to be here for the rest of my pregnancy, so we'll see how that goes. I hope everyone has a very happy and safe Independence Day if you celebrate. I know I will. We're cooking out and this is the first Fourth of July I get to spend with my DH. He's grilling me boneless skinless chicken breast to fit with my attempt at healthier eating It's just nice to be able to share everything with him again and actually spend time with him. Life is really good right now for us and I hope it's going as well for yinz as well.
sounds great for you. I gained 10 lbs in one month with my first pregnancy. The culprit for me was milk. I could drink it all day long. My doc gently suggested that I switch to 1% milk if I was going to be drinking that much of it, lol.
I am glad to hear that dh will be home with you for the remainder of the pregnancy.

I am really happy to hear about his job --- hopefully his other business picks up and you guys can make up some of the $ difference. The time at home with the kids and supporting you during pregnancy is priceless, though. Congrats
