This is the first week where strangers have felt comfortable asking or commenting to me about my pregnancy. I walked into my dentist's office the other day and immediately got greeted with a congratulations! I guess I look obviously pregnant now and not just like I have a big ol' beer gut.

It's kinda nice to know I look obviously pregnant even at this stage, considering I don't comment to other women until they are almost 9 months bulging (just in case).

Anyone else have good or bad stories of strangers noticing?

I get noticed all the time now, but honestly I feel huge, lol. It would be strange to me if people didn't notice. I get all kinds of comments at work now. Some I welcome and some I could really do without, like the, oh you can finally stop now since you are having a girl. grrrrr.

I am glad you are at a stage that you feel comfortable with it now. It really is a milestone in the pregnancy.

Yes all the time! People have been doing it for a while, which is kind of dicey, ha. My DH was with me on the elevator yesterday and 2 people asked during just that ride. I let him do the answering about "it's a boy" to give him a taste of it I have only had one person grab my belly. I have had a lot of people give me advice and scary anecdotes (like the mom that had 4 pre-term babies!! Yikes stay away from me I don't want to catch it )

Yep! I've been getting this a lot but I wear clothes that accentuate it lol. I have a HUGE belly - well, it feels that way.
Luckily, no complete strangers have tried to touch me yet. Dont know how I'll react.

People have been noticing it (or mentioning it) for a few weeks now. Thankfully no strangers (or anyone besides Dh and Dd really) have tried to touch my belly. I had to deal with it a lot last time and it was annoying. Maybe now I just give off the "Don't freakin touch me vibe" lol.

I don't think I've gotten too many strangers saying something without some kind of confirmation first. Like the rep at the DMV said stuff after I made a comment. (She also let me slide on the eye exam - no restrictions, yay!)

It's definitely noticeable though. When I walked in the ER yesterday to get my sister, I've never received such immediate attention from everyone behind the desk.

Strangers have noticed for a while now and most think I'm due any day

The other day at the bakery I told the lady what I wanted and she said "what are you having" and I repeated my bread order and she says "no, the baby, boy or girl?"

Me too! This was the first week ANYONE has mentioned it, and several unrelated people all asked this week. I guess I popped! I also know I grew alot because I keep bumping my belly into things (like the corner of the countertop!!), and it's starting to hurt!
