I need advice!

For the past 3-4 days, I have been having some weird abdominal pain. Typically it is very sharp pains, and the seem to be spider-webbing out from my belly button area. Sometimes when I'm up walking around, sometimes when I'm just sitting here. Is this maybe a belly button hernia or something?

Secondly, I have also been having sharp abdominal pain in my lower left abdomen. Also comes both when moving around AND sitting. I do know that it is normal to have round ligament pain around 27-28 weeks (I called the nurse about this specific pain last night), so it may be that...but it seems to be happening OFTEN and it is reaching clear up into my hip area.

I don't know how else to describe these pains other than this: they kind of resemble the sharp gas pains you would get when you're really bloated and have to go to the bathroom, except these are more on the OUTSIDE of my belly, not in my digestive tract? I don't know if that makes any sense.

Are pains like this normal in pregnancy, or do you think I should call my doctor tomorrow? Baby is moving as usual, and I have no abnormal discharge or spotting.

As far as the sharp pains, I am having the same thing. They go from the bottom of my belly to my hips and pelvic bone. Totally feels like I'm bloated or air is causing it but I'm not sure. I really think that area is just doing a lot of stretching now to prepare for the long haul. I heard we are approaching the most uncomfortable part of pregnancy...boooo. I'd bring it up at your next appointment though if it gets worse!

I've been having the same pains on the left side as well. Sharp, very annoying.

Did you not mention you were struggling with constipation??

For me that is the exact pain I get when constipated and it hurts! And feels like much more than that.....

Can you talk to someone soon? While abdominal pain is pretty common during pregnancy, I am hesitant to say you should just ignore it. I definitely recommend mentioning it to your provider at your earliest opportunity.

Yes, I have been dealing with constipation maybe I will call my doctor tomorrow and at least run it all by him. Rather be safe than sorry.

Mine hurt sometimes like a sharp pain.
I'd call the doctor just in case

I get sharps around my belly bottom that sometimes shoot down and other times go up my stomach. Doc says its probably belly button hernia and pulling ligaments. But I still run all that stuff by him. And you did mention having bad constipation, I agree with the others, run it by your doc, could be something else causing it.

Sounds normal, but yea why not just check with the Dr to be safe right? Hope it's nothing serious.

I agree that it sounds normal, especially with constipation, but I would give the doc a call if it keeps up.

I'm not sure about the belly button pain, but I was told if the sharp pain is only on one side then that's ligaments stretching. If the pain is on both sides and more cramp then that's contractions. Always good to call the doc anyways though.

Still having some belly button pain. I just spoke with the doctors office. They said it is completely normal to have sharp pains like that, especially coming from the belly button area. And that the bigger you get, the more likely you are to have pain, since your ligaments are trying to support more weight. Also, the lower belly pains are most likely round ligament pain (from the same thing, obviously).
