That is the question....

Jamies post made me think of this....

Who all is getting a boppy or some sort of nursing pillow?

I had one with my other babies, but always ended up getting a new one as they go flat.

I still have 3 of them in my house now, but I use them for posing newborns now for photography cuz they went so flat.

I kinda forgot about it till today when I walked by them at Target today, yet another thing to add to my lists of I think I do need that.

Are they flat enough you could put 2 into 1 cover and make it the size of a new one? Just a thought, I did love mine last time. Thinking I will buy a new cover once we know boy or girl, we had generic cream last time.

I loved mine with DS, so I will be using it again for sure. I don't think mine has gone too flat...

I had one before, and it seemed to make nursing more difficult. Someone would be at the door or something fell. I could readjust a regular pillow a lot easier. I am slightly interested in the Brest Friend Pillow, but I am trying to be frugal this go. Gonna stick with the regular pillow more than likely.

My mom bought one for me since they worked really good with my nephews. I can't wait to try it out

I'm giving a Boppy a try, we got this one: Boppy Nursing Pillow Thimbleberry - Boppy - Babies "R" Us
I like the firm bottom that you can flip, using either a pillow or firmer side.

I'm planning on a regular pillow, unless I get one for my shower. If the regular pillow doesn't work out then a bobby will be on my x-mas list.

It seems like one of those things that you either love and use a ton, or don't really feel like you need. I fall into the second category. I remember using it a bit to prop up my arm on the side that I was nursing for a little while, but I didn't use it very long and never found another purpose for it. That said, we did keep it, and I'll pull it out again.

I got a used one for my shower that I put aside and dont want to use because I dont know who it came from...
So I'll probably just try to not use a boppy since I dont want to offend the person who gave it to me

Boppy didn't work for me so this time I got a nursing pillow that is taller (has more height).

I'll be getting a nursing pillow that's kind of like a boppy but has a slightly different shape and little pouch that you can take on and off so you can prop baby up when baby is ready to be propped and view the world.

I used mine all the time for DS1 and barely never for DS2, we shall see if I use it this time around. I heard that if you wash and dry it, it will fluff back up, so I did and it seems better than it was.

I didn't like the bobby. I did use a breast friend pillow for a few weeks but i doubt i will use it again. For me, it is more a matter of mother and baby figuring out the best positions for nursing over a few weeks.

I'm a FTM so have no idea. A friend said she'd loan me her my breast friend pillow, but if it doesn't happen I will likely just use regular pillows. If that doesn't work out, well, off to the store!
