will you be sure to have your toenails looking all pretty for when its time for the baby to make a debut?

I know stupid question, but I plan to make sure my toes look cute.

I always wear socks. lol I had a nurse to ask if I wanted to take my socks off during the pushing stage last time, and I refused. I never have liked my feet, especially when they are all swollen.

I'd like to, but they are rather busted at the moment so hopefully well have them in shape by then. I say "we" because SO will definitely have to help.

I can't stand my toes looking gross. My lungs and health have gotten better and I can drive myself places again, first thing I did this week? Go get a pedicure!! Plan on getting another next month before baby arrives because getting one during the newborn phase will be tricky.

Nope, don't care for it at all. My toenails are really short and look horrible with color on them anyways.

I just got a pedi a week ago, and I'll probably get another one in a couple months.

I'm not overly concerned about it, but a pedicure does sound nice. Maybe I'll treat myself!

Eh, probably not. I will try and make sure they are trimmed up but no pedicure or anything.

I try and keep mine done. I live in Florida and wear sandals of some kind 99% of the time.
It's getting hard to bend that way though!

I always keep mine groomed and painted, so I am sure they will be at delivery time too. I was thinking about a halloween theme on them. Maybe orange nails with a little spider web or something on them.....

October in VT is not really pedicure time, but maybe I'll get one. I normally do a mani-pedi once a year. I made the mistake this spring of getting some crazy gel polish on my fingers that looked great for a while but won't come off with regular nail polish remover. It finally all grew out. I honestly couldn't understand what the lady was saying, so I was like "Sure, sounds great!"

Explain?!

I am getting my swollen feet pedicured this Friday, and I'll probably get them done again the first weekend in October. I don't want to have hooves when baby gets here. If I'm going to be a hot mess and all sweaty and bleeding, I might as well have nice fingers and toes

I'll try, but it's not at the top of my priority list.

Melissa, it's a little crunchy granola, but you chose a birth colour in hypnobirthing, and that colour corresponds to a certain area of your body that you want to focus on relaxing during labour. I don't remember them all off hand, but I think blue is for the neck, green is for the chest, yellow is for the stomach, and orange is for the uterus (there are more). I chose orange to remind me to relax when it gets intense and I forget. Hopefully when I look down at my orange toes I'll have a moment of "right, try to breathe and relax, remember what you learned!" And if I get to have nice painted toenails as a bi-product that's not bad either
