I'm a SAHM so I don't get maternity leave. My mom gets here to help out on Sept 28 and leaves after Thanksgiving so I guess that's my maternity leave. Although I still do most of the work because it's my house and they are my kids I have problems letting someone else parent my kids when DH and I are around.

Wow, I never even thought to leave work early... I guess I should start thinking about it! I was hoping to stop commuting by Oct 7th (I'm due the 21st) and continue working from home until it's time. I'm afraid if I stop completely, I will go insane wondering when I will go into labor. Then again, I have about 5 major projects due the end of Sept/early October, and it would be really stressful if those get left undone if I go early!

I am starting to physically get exhausted, though. I just need to slow down a bit.

I will also work up until I have the baby. I'm taking 12 weeks off, so I'm hoping she comes at the end of Sept, early Oct so I can be off through the holidays! I sit at a desk, but am still EXAUSTED when I get home. I only get things done around the house on the weekends.

this , but I only get to take 6 weeks off... The weekends are worse in terms of pain and exhaustion for me because I am on my feet so much trying to catch up with the dishes, laundry and all the cleaning I can't wait for my mom to get here from India this weekend!!
