Hi guys! All is going great! All the super bad reasons have been cleared out. NEC was one of the items on the list and OMG...that is super scary. He started to feed again today and I got to use my breast milk so that was a plus. I even got to hold him. It had been 36ish hours so it felt wonderful. He has a catheter in his umbilical vein so holding him is scary for me but it was still wonderful. So, thanks for all the well wishes and prayers and private messages. We are so blessed and lucky. Now we rule out allergies. One NICU doc said it could have even been all the blood he swallowed. We don't have definite answers as to what it is but at least we know what it is not!!! If he tolerates feeding well and starts pooping normally we could all be home together maybe by next week.

As per not delivering this monster vaginally, I couldn't deliver a 10 pounder. My first was pretty traumatic for me (emergency section after trying to push for two hours) and I have bleeding issues and need it all controlled. It was a combo call and this is what I felt was best for my baby boy and I did too. My doctor and his practice believe it was the best call as well. Either way, labor was the hardest most painful thing in the world...you all natural ladies are stronger than superman!!!

Sorry for rambling- typing this from phone so hard to make it flow decently! Again thanks for the support ladies. I will post pics soon. I think most of his weight is just his cheeks!
