Yesterday morning I felt fine, then after church my right breast started hurting... I started feeling worse and worse, running a low grade fever, feeling like the flu and my right side hurts so bad. I keep nursing him on that side first and have tried to stuff him full of milk all day and night. I even had dreams that I had a jello like consistency coming out instead of milk. Ugh. I have a doctor's appointment this morning, thinking mastitis...

Sounds like it for sure and it is miserable. Sorry you're feeling this way, the meds should kick in pretty fast though!

Yep, it's mastitis. Both sides hurt now though. I think I may have tried to nurse on the bad side first too much and clogged up the other. She gave me some antibiotics and I started them yesterday so I am hoping I feel better soon. I may dig out the pump and pump after nursing today to empty both sides completely. Thankfully my parents offered to stay longer to help me out. Oh, and we had to get a new furnace yesterday too. It's one thing after another it seems...
