I just ordered some more dipes and can't wait to get them! I get excited about the little things in life. LOL

Any other cloth users want to update how it's going?

I have been using original Tide and it's working well, but I used the sample pack of Bum Genius powder and liked that too! What detergent are you all using? I used Ecos but it didn't see to be doing the job. The Tide did pretty well though.

I still haven't done anything about the wipes, maybe I'll try to sew the receiving blankets tomorrow or next weekend. Maybe I'll just be lazy and cut them and not worry about surging the edges. I don't have a surger anyway so I'd just be trying to fake it.

I bought some bigger premium size prefolds but having trouble folding where they will work. They don't go around his waist too well but are still really long. Maybe I need to try a different fold.

I just bought a new fitted It's soooo absorbent! I think we kept it on for 8 hours and even when we did change her it still wasn't wet on the outside - something that never happens with her!

I need to cut blankets too but...meh I still have a ton of regular wipes and Dh isn't too exited about cloth wipes for some reason.

I'm using rockin green. She stains so easily for some reason. It's like her poop has dye in it that will never be lifted and I dont have any good sun here (apartment on side with no sun) So I'm thinking about switching to Charlie's Soap since my local store recommends it.

I use prefolds but I just fold them in threes and put them in there. lol. It works and even when they are too big we just make it over flow in the front over the diaper for nightitme use. I wish cloth was slimmer on her in general, but I know she'll grow big soon and they'll fit better

I have a bunch of Bumgenius 4.0s that should be coming this week. Excited!

I'm using Seventh Generation right now. I do have Ecos for our clothes.
I'm hoping the Sev Gen will keep working...!

I made my own detergent, but feeling a little disillusioned with cloth these days. It's mid-winter so no sunning and the stains are frustrating and out of control. Not sure how to fix this. More detergent? We're using motherease and happy hempies. Cloth Diaper Safe Homemade Laundry Detergent- Just $30 A Year!

Ours are stained too. I let them soak for a while and that seemed to help, but otherwise I dont care about the staining. As long as they dont stink...

But I'm always more worried with cloth for some reason! Any little smell and I'm like I think people have gotten in my brain that it's just too much work and gross when it isn't, you know?

I don't get much staining but I throw poopy diapers in the washer and do a rinse cycle as soon as they come off. Then at the end of the day I wash with Publix detergent. I had more staining with Sawyer's but I threw them in a dry pail and washed them every day or every other day. Pre rinsing them works much better.

I use mostly BG but when I use prefolds I don't really fold them. I lay them on the floor and lay her on top. Pull the end up between her legs and fan it out and use a snappy to hold it.

I have 44 AIO cloth diapers from Sawyer and I got 3 new ones for Tessa. Plus a million prefolds. I hope I am not buying anymore. I love love love them but they are expensive.

I do a quick wash on cold, with an extra rinse first with no detergent. Then I wash in hot with the detergent and another rinse. I use the dry pail and wash every other day to every other day. If they are stained I put them on the drying rack in the window and it seems to work I get more staining in the creases of the covers I use with the prefolds than anything else.
