Miah started sleeping through the night at 2 months old, started off at 7 hours a night then 9 hours and NOW since my husband go laid off about 2 weeks ago he decided it would be cool to feed her at 4 a.m. because she was getting restless (for her paci) and now she is just like a newborn! She woke up at 3:30 last night wanting a bottle then got restless for the longest time then she was up and down then woke up at 6:30. I want my 2 month old back! lol She barely even moved then and now she is reverting! I have other theories as to why she is restless, like her bassinet is too small, and so is her swaddler, and she sweats in the night. I want to maybe do away with the halo swaddler tonight and maybe just swaddle her arms with a breathable swaddler and put her in her crib and see what I come up with. I really wish I had a co-sleeper crib because I would honestly prefer her sleeping with me but we can't have everything in life can we!

Christian now sleeps better since we moved him to his crib, I think his bassinet was too small at the last of it. But he does have some nights where he wakes 2:30 and 6:30 for bottles. He too slept through the night since 2 months.

Sophie has started waking up again around 3 am too. I am honestly loving it though. My now 10 year old woke up 4 times a night till he was almost 2 years old. It was insane. He had horrible reflux though. Even at 1 time a night she is still the best sleeper that I have had and she sleeps better than I do, lol.

I bet now would be a good time to wean her off the swaddle if you're wanting to, since she is already sleeping restlessly. Might as well do it now, rather than have her get back into a good sleep pattern and then mess her up all over again when you try to wean her off it. Logan will be 3 months tomorrow, and I stopped swaddling him a month ago - it was only 2-3 nights of him waking up more often but now he sleeps just fine without his swaddle. Our next step is moving him to his crib. I'm nervous about not having him near me at night but I think he will do okay...I hope lol.

My boys are normally restless when something is annoying them. When they are hungry, they make it known. They don't (didn't) take pacis so I'm not familiar with how they would act for those, but when they are restless, it's usually they are hot, cold or dirty diaper. Basically they are uncomfortable. Of course they will eat, because that's all my kids do, but had they not been irritated & woken up, they wouldn't have woken up. And they slept through pee diapers too normally, so for me it was usually temperature.

Yeah I am definitely going to try to put her down without a swaddler tonight to see how it goes, when she stays the night at her aunt's house they put her to sleep without a swaddler and she seems to do fine, so I might not have a problem. & she sweats like crazy so I think going without the swaddler might be a little better for her.

4 month sleep regression: She totally has this, I've never heard of it but just looked it up and she fits all of the signs.

• Increased fussiness;

• Multiple night wakings (especially if your baby has just begun to sleep longer stretches during the night);

• Reduced naps or “disaster naps”; and

• Changes in appetite.

Man, she has been extra whiney (wanting to be held reaching her arms out for me and crying when I leave the room)
Fights me to the end (sometimes) with naps, she will scream and plank and smack me, and her feedings have been all over the place!

Man, can this happen at three months? Lol Logan has been like that for two days now! I think he's having a growth spurt though.

Hope she settles down for you!

Mine normal have a sleep pattern shift around now, too. It'll suck for a couple weeks normally and go back to normal. Well, till teething. Lily had those disaster naps for the past couple weeks, and the past few days she's been a ton better. She was getting little 20 minute naps all day, but then she was getting naps for 2-3 hours strait.

I hope Miah chills out. Last night we tried no swaddler, just wrapping her arms, and it was hell. She woke up at 2 and was up until 4:45 just tossing and turning and fussing. I took care of her during that time since Nick put her down, then I woke him up at 4:45 to feed her a bottle and he went off saying "after this I'm done". What a horrible thing to say! Like I can't be "done" we're supposed to take turns but long story short he slept on the couch.

Everything comes in phases with babies, NEVER get used to what they are doing, especially sleep wise, because they will pretty much ALWAYS change it up on you! What she is doing now it totally normal and will pass, without you doing much to change it

(in my completely non-educated opinion! LOL. Just my experience)
