Are you trying for more children in hopes of getting the opposite sex, are you done and happy to be done?

If we decide to have another (which as of right now I think we will) I honestly do not care what it is. I'm actually leaning towards wanting another boy, but I'd be happy with either. I just don't even know what I'd do with a girl (even though I'd be thrilled with either!). But I am 100% honest when I say the only thing that would matter to me is health.

I felt this exact same way after Brady was born in 2007. I didn't know what I would do with a little girl. It does all come naturally. She was a surprise for us both gender and pregnancy wise.

It's so funny because I KNEW my first was a girl. Knew it! I originally didn't have a gender preference but was so convinced he was a girl that when I found out he was a boy I was shocked to say the least. I was sad for a little while. Now I enjoy my boys so much I would be happy with 5 more (in theory. Not that I want 5 more kids!). That being said, I held my girlfriends newborn last month, first little girl I've held in years I swear. And I seriously would've taken her home with me. I don't know what I'd do with a girl, but I'd quickly figure it out & would start by shopping!

We had 2 girls first and we wanted a 3rd.... kinda hoping for a boy but would have totally loved a girl. We ended up getting pregnant with Everleigh and lost her at 17 weeks. Then got pregnant with our boy. When pregnant with Jude I really honestly didn't care what it was as long as it was healthy. I am happy we are able to experience having a boy now.

We are done...I am so sad about this. When I was pregnant this time, I was so sick again that I gto my tubes tied and swore I could not be pg again...wish I had held off...I would go through it all again in a hearbeat. I do have 2 girls and 1 boy and very blessed though!

I wouldn't mind having a boy, but I don't think I am willing to go through pregnancy again unless I can star on "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant." Only then. Then surprise in the ER. I personally think that if we did try for another, we'd have 4 girls. Then we'd have 5 girls and 6 girls and so on and so forth.

I'm pretty happy to be done. Every now and then I wonder what #4 would look like(since #3 looks like the other 2 but a ginger instead of a brunette), and then I think of pregnancy, childbirth, and dealing with an infant, and I realize I'm not that curious about it.

If I had the money to do that sperm thing that would almost guarantee a boy, I would give it serious thought.

I am leaning more and more towards being done. But DH really wants a boy, so we will see. I am on the fence and thought I would throw it out there and see how others felt.

We had the agreement that if we had two girls, we MAY try for a boy when I was 33 or 34, but we got our surprise. We did know that no matter what after 3 tries for both sexes, we wouldn't try again.

I hear both sides. "You're young, you can still try for that boy." And I hear, "Never try for a certain sex. You may not get it." I lived next door to this one woman that was determined to have that baby girl, and she finally did...after having 6 boys. And then she stopped having babies. That is just a little ridiculous. She wasn't trying for children, she was trying for gender. It might just not happen.

I'm very happy with three girls. I would have loved the experience of a boy, but I'm willing to bet one of my girls will have all boys or something. I'll live through them.
