Christian is doing pretty well sitting on his own but I'm always right there ready to catch him lol he doesn't seem to get that he will fall and hurt himself.

phe has for a while since that's all she wanted to do. She falls rarely and...i just let sometimes of I'm too far. She's gotten good at not crying when it doesn't hurt I think.

Brady is doing really well with this, although it's mostly at daycare since we have wood floors at home.

Doug just started last week but is doing awesome! I put pillows around him to catch his falls on the side that I'm not on.

Lily has been doing pretty well, but it's in my recliner with the legs kicked out so it's like she's sitting in a shallow V. She does well, but she still herp derps to the side a bunch.

Sophie does really well. She is a champ at sitting up now. It took her a while though.
This is her at her 6 month check up last friday.

Hahaha well she has been doing well for a while and now if she falls it's her own fault because she's trying to get into the crawl position Plus I don't want to interrupt her when she's figuring it out!Edit: Well now I feel bad, she just fell standing on the walker and I was right there!

Logan is capable of sitting up unassisted, but can't put himself in a sitting position by himself, if that makes sense. I always have to sit him up, but then he usually will stay that way unless he gets bored/distracted and then tips over.

He is always trying to sit up by himself though when he's laying on his back...he looks like he's doing crunches lol. I have been trying to teach him to put weight on his arm to get himself up. I wonder how old babies are before they learn to sit from a lying position?

Sounds like Christian, i can sit him up and he can sit fine for a nice while. But if he reaches for something or gets distracted he will tip over lol wondering when he will not do that lol

H is! I sit by him just in case, but he hardly ever needs me. I bet if I didn't hover he wouldn't need me at all.

My Brady is still wobbly. Either leans to the side & falls or to the front & falls. I think his head is too big haha

Declan has been sitting on his own for a while now. He even takes his baths in the big bathtub now because he is so good at it and had outgrown the baby seat we had.

Logan does, for a couple weeks I think now. He looks like a little weeble wobble - he tilts, but doesn't fall. If he goes over it's typically because he's trying to get something. He's been doing stomach crunches for months now, I'm guessing his core strength is better than mine.

At his appointment Tuesday.

I can leave Ben like that and he may tip over, but he's a good sport about it. I let him fall unless he's on a hard surface. He spends a lot of time on a wood floor with a braided sisal rug, with a blanket spread on top. It's not soft but it's not going to knock him out He's doing great with it though! For about 2 - 3 weeks.
