We got to Fort Worth Texas about 3 days ago. The drive was outrageous from Indiana. We had to get a hotel in Little Rock, and all together it was a 17 hour drive with having to stop and take care of Miah and getting lost it was crazy, she actually slept from Indiana to TN though which was surprising. It is hot as all get out here and I have terrible allergies and this dry heat does not help! We are adjusting though, it's weird living in a hotel and I don't like it a whole lot but it's only 2-2 1/2 months.
I am glad that she did so well on the trip down. I have never been to TX, but I do see the temps are much higher than here. HOpefully the time will fly by for you and you will be in a more stable setting soon.

I've lived in a hotel for 2 weeks twice now - it's so cramped! But it was an extended stay and we had a stove top so it wasn't the worst thing ever Are ya'll just moving back once his job is done? You can also look into furnished apartments, though they are pretty expensive.
