I just realized it's been a month since I've felt my phantom baby. I heard it could happen after pregnancy, never thought I would get it so extreme that I would start looking up if you could feel when the condom broke. lol The "movement" combined with occasional heartburn--never got it before I was pregnant--got me pretty freaked a couple times.

Did any of you have to ever deal with a phantom pregnancy? Was it just movement for you?

I guess I hadn't thought of it as a phantom pregnancy, but I took a preg test yesterday because for a couple weeks now I could swear I was feeling kicking/movement...I mostly thought I was nuts.

It was negative, by the way lol

I'd noticed movement type feelings as well. I have ibs, so I just attributed it to that, but it definitely felt like baby movement. I wonder if it has something to do with less muscle tone there, like a thinner wall between organs and surface... Dunno, but it sure can be a little eerie.

Nope, but sometimes I wish I did because I miss the kicks, is that weird?

Sometime I feel this, but assume it's gas!

Mine started a week or two after birth. Sometimes felt like flutters, sometimes strokes like from arms, sometimes kicks all over. I seriously freaked out once or twice! lol

Some of it was nice. I guess because I have Lily and I'm not puking. I usually don't enjoy the kicks much. DD1 felt like muscle spasms, DD2 felt like a freaking Chest Buster, and DD3 felt like strait up pain. Always in my bladder or my ribs. But it was nice thinking about having a future repeat of the baby love I have for Lily.

Not that I'd go through pregnancy again to get it!
