?Phe can pull herself up to standing sometimes. And play fetch by herself. Still no crawling!

Haha!! Play fetch by herself!!

Logan has mostly mastered the pincer grasp, so is able to pick up finger foods. He is really good at rolling over in both directions now. He doesn't seem too far away from crawling - he gets one leg up to the side but then starts teetering and isn't sure where to go from there. I think he will figure it out very soon.

And most importantly, he sleeps through the night in his crib in his own room. Hallelujah.

Hmmm he can roll both ways good now, can kinda drag himself around some. Not crawling though, doesn't get up on his legs really and is really frustrated with that lol Can clap his hands together, says mom, dad, and what's that. Oh and can sit up really well now!!

Woah, sweetie pie, words? That's crazy! We're not hearing anything that sounds like anything over here.

We're thisclose to crawling. He gets up on his hands and knees and rocks for longer and longer periods of time. It's crazy. He just needs to take that first step and he'll be there. He's got the pincer grasp and is almost actively holding two objects at once (he'll grab a second and forget about the first, but not hold both and interact with both at once).

^^^ditto - words already?! The most Logan can do is growl at me and squeal in an obnoxiously high pitched manner. And then of course he jabbers but nothing consistent or that we can interpret as a word!

Lily just has the one new word. She had "mama" and "hi." Just started saying "dada." Still in the same place as for crawling, commando and the one leg cocked out. Gets around really well. Sits OK on her own...for maybe a minute then falls over. lol

Natania has been rolling anywhere she wants to go for weeks. Started crawling on Mothers day. Loves to self feed to a degree its causing issues with feeding - if I try to feed her she is pitching a fit now. But she cant feed herself with a spoon, try as she might, so she's getting mad about it. She's said Mama since 6 months. Last Saturday she turned 8 months.

phoebe says moma and dada, but then she stopped. It's only when she wants to be talkative. Is tricking me a milestone? hahaha. She cries until I stand up now because she knows I'll get her.

Ugh, Lily does that, too. If she's on the floor and sees someone headed her way, she plops to her belly and holds her arms up! Been doing it for months. She is such a lap baby, but I love it.

He sounds sort of like my sister's kids. All three were geniuses, could talk and respond like that really early, like with the clapping and talking and waving. And all three took forever to do the physical milestones. They were all close to 2 years when they started walking. A doctor told her it was because her kids had figured out she would carry them. first time I met her youngest, the girl was 18-19 months and still crawling! I didn't even see her stand on her own the entire week we were visiting.

Still think that's nuts! And amazing! And awesome!

After reading your post yesterday I spent the entire afternoon trying to coax Logan into saying "mama"...he just looked at me with this big goofy grin on his face. Didn't even get a squeal out of him. Little stinker.

Jenny that's how I got Phe to say momma, I just kept saying it for 2 days and then she started

And I mentioned crawling in my other post, but figured this was a more appropriate place because I count it as crawling but it's so weird! She gets on all fours, scoots her legs up to sitting, then repeat. It makes her self-fetch game more fun, but now I cannot trust her. At all.

Ben is sitting up, waving, saying Mama occasionally. He is starting to do "SOOO BIGGG" and is an absolute pro at making raspberries and doing that little b-b-b-b lip thing with his finger. He just gets this little glint in his eye and then makes the funniest noises. He likes to make people laugh and unless he is overtired, if you make eye contact with him he gives you a big toothy smile. Yesterday, he leaned over and started to rock - in crawling terms, 1 being sedentary and 10 crawling like a maniac, he's at a 2-3. YAY! He bonked his head pretty well then so I think he might hold off a day or so on crawling
