Soooo I know its far away...but does anyone have any plans??? I want to do a family costume! We're thinking DH be Mario, me Peach, and Lo will be Yoshi. I'm learning to sew so that gives me plenty of time to make them! (OR, buy them if I suck )

We are thinking about having the 3 kids dress as Avengers ( oldest son Thor, daughter black widow, and Christian the hulk or captain america lol )

Mine are too little to be picky so if we do trick or treating this year, they will more than likely go as fairies. They have cute dresses and wings already. =)

I don't know! I have been thinking about it but nothing has struck me as genius yet lol. Hubby says we don't need to take him trick or treating since he's too little to knock on doors or eat the candy, and we live out in the country so people don't come here...might go to my parents house and hand out candy? That way I can dress him up!

I was thinking...a log. Since I call him Log (yes, like a tree, not like Loge) lol

LOL Jenny. I call mine Loge.

I am thinking maybe a ladybug, or a bee. I am not really sure yet. I am hoping that it hits me in an ah-ha moment when I see it.

These are such cute ideas. I hope you'll all share photos. My mom sewed outfits for my brothers so I am going to use the ones she made. The smallest one is a monkey outfit, so that's what he'll be. Then I think that I'll have my DH dress up as the empire state building and carry H around (I know it was a gorilla and not a monkey, but I've gotta work with what we have!). I saw this online once and it was soooo cute.

I was thinking Mickey Mouse. I'm leaning towards a Mickey theme for his birthday, and was also thinking about encouraging guests or kids to dress up if they wanted. And he loves Mickey. He claps when he sees him. It also occurred to me that if we have SO's older two we've got the set up for The Incredibles. I like the idea of group costumes.

If I can gather one more girl child, I'd dress the kids up like ABBA. One year...

I saw this on pinterest the other day and I want to make this for Tessa.

Sawyer wants to be a train so I'll be saving cardboard boxes for the next few months.

I've had my eye on a bat costume from pottery barn since my 5 year old was a baby. The one year I bought it on ebay since they sold out online & he outright refused to wear it or go trick or treating. Since it was pretty pricey, I didn't want to take the chance & waste the money, I ended up reselling it on ebay for more than I actually bought it for! He ended up deciding to go trick or treating halloween night so he wore his pottery barn spider costume that he wore the year before. Last year he wanted to be a pumpkin, which surprised me since he was 4, but I've always loved the pottery barn pumpkin costume so I got that for him & it was super cute. I've about run through the pottery barn costumes I love so if I get the bat, this will be the last one. My 5 year old wants to be black spiderman this year, which I LOVE since most kids don't want to be a villain. So I was considering spiderman or another super hero for the baby. I think it would be cute if they dressed similar. However I'd prefer something cute & cuddly since I only get a few years I get to pick the costumes!
