Soo I start full time school in 13 days! And I will be volunteering in the hospital soon.

I am terrified of leaving my baby for so long The longest I was without her was 8 hours and that was at a ball so I was with my DH. This will be hours by myself! Well, only maybe 4 hours tops at one time - but still! And she will be with a wonderful friend who is babysitting for free!

How did everyone else cope with leaving their baby? I know I have been lucky to do all my school online/be able to stay at home, but now I have to be separated right when she is learning all the fun stuff!

It is really hard. I still have problems with it. My aunt watches Sophie which does help and it is great that you have a friend who is willing to watch her for you. It does help some.

This is how I'm dealing with it for now

I go back to work in 6 weeks and H goes into daycare in 8 weeks (DH will be home with him for a few weeks), wah, I'd like to know the answer to this too. I'm just going to have to wear dark sunglasses on my way to work and cry cry cry. I'm devastated thinking about it.

Sorry to not be of help, just feeling sad myself about this, even though I know I'm lucky to have had so long with him. BUT

Logan is work family when I'm at work. If he's with SO they'll video chat with me when he wakes up. I miss him, I worry about him, but I know it is good for him to be with other people so he's not super crazy clingy. He's mommy's boy, but I think of it were me all the time he'd never want anyone else.

Being busy helps too. If I were twiddling my thumbs, I'd have a hard time justifying it.
