Camden has an allergy to Milk, Eggs, Peanuts, Soybean and Dogs so far. We did 20 tests this morning and 5 came out as definitely positive. We go back in 2 weeks for more.

I am allergic to a lot, but not those things

Poor guy! And hugs to you, that's got to be rough seeing that. Heck, it's rough for me seeing that, I just want to give him a hug. Ditto Mack's question - any chance he grows out of some or all? I know I've read there's a chance with some allergies, but I can't recall which ones are likely to go away or stick.

I am too chicken to get that done. DH is allergic to 70 things, and our daughters are starting to prove they have inherited it. So far one is allergic to dogs and one is allergic to cats. We think the third has a red wasp allergy, and we know for sure that 2 of them get asthmatic around cigarettes. When my friends come over, the first sentence out of my mouth is usually, "This is awkward to ask, but my delicate, asthmatic husband and children like to sit on this couch. If you have any animal dander or cigarette smoke on you, please sit on the other couch or my recliner."

I've been married for almost 10 years, and I just discovered he's allergic to shellfish! I don't like them so it never came up, but my mom made shrimp etouffee recently, and I discovered why he never liked them either. It's awful. His doctor said he had more allergies than anyone he's ever come across before in his entire career. I am worried that will be our girls one day. We already can't visit any of my friends because of cats, dogs, or cigarette smoke. Anything else and we won't be able to leave the house!

Ugh...I'm allergic to birds and cats. We will never have pets outside of a terrarium or aquarium! I bet our red wasp kid is allergic to birds. Cause that would just be perfect.

Arwen, I have a lot, but dang!I did this test and my whole left side was swollen. You know it's bad when the nurse and doctor walk in and go "Oh! You...are definitely allergic to something."
Mine's all grass and 1 tree lol

LOL I shouldn't be laughing, but that's funny. I have mold, birds, cats, and skin things like fabric softener or soft soap. And latex! The latex one is brand new! Developed after Lily's birth. I discovered this one while preventing more pregnancies if you know what I mean. Really unpleasant! Freaking burned for DAYS.

Poor DH. He told me as a kid he was scared of needles, like a normal child. Then the allergy testing happened. He described shots up and down both of his arms for them. Got over the needle thing fast.

Arwin, wth does your poor husband eat? Are a lot of his food allergies?

I have allergies too. I'm allergic to Apples, bananas, cherries, peaches, caffeine, cats, and I have seasonal pollen allergies.

They tested Cam for pollen, trees, grass, mold and dust and he didn;t react to any of those so that's good I suppose. Cooking for him is going to be a challenge. I haven't talked to the allergist yet, but we will when we go back in 2 weeks. I've heard that there's a chance that he can grow out of them by 3 but his pedi said it doesn't look like that will happen so I guess we will see.

Hopefully he does!!

And I had the back one. They did my arms for penicillin (which I'm not allergic to, but give me another form of it and I break out in body hives)

I'm also allergic to peaches, apples, kiwis, watermelon, plums...

1. LOL to LATEX hahahahah that made me laugh too. I am sensitive to most lubes too...

2. Caffeine?!?!?! How do you survive? Is it all caffeine so no dark sodas?
