I am due in May with my boyfriends baby who is hispanic. My question is, I have 2 other boys and they are both white. (both their dad's are white) I guess I am nervous that the kids will all feel different becasue they have different colored skin. I am afraid that when my baby grows up he will feel left out becasue his brothers "look like their mom"
Am I being stupid? Do kids even think like that? Any input would help...thank you!!
i am here to tell you that kids dont make a fuss about skin color like adults do....hatred & things of that nature are taught. my dd & her friends(mostly white) dont ever mention a word about her skin color...the most they say is ....."man, i love your tan, lexi! i wish mine stayed as long as yours!!" LOL.......so, relax you & your babies will be fine.
try not to worry too much. everything will be fine. my mother was married 3 times. with each marriage she had at least 1 child. there is a told of 4 of us. we all look different, yet we all look alike at the same time. so long as you don't make a big deal out of it, everything should be just fine.
