No, but they always ask me if I'm babysitting. I get annoyed with that question.

I get asked that about our oldest son. There seems to be a stereotype about Asian looking children. They always assume he's adopted. One guy kept looking at DS then back at me etc... Finally, he looked at me and said he looks Asian (in a confused voice). Wow, thanks! Now there's no need for that pesky DNA test.

I haven't been asked it recently since people seemed to have developed some common sense over the last two years

I've been asked twice. Once it was because my son was only two week old and the lady didn't think I looked big enough to be only 2 weeks post-partum. The other time it was just an ignorant lady at my parents' church.
My DH is Asian, but his skin isn't that dark and he has big eyes for an Asian.

Hi! New here and jumping in. I haven't really been asked about whether our kids are adopted but I get tons of annyoing comments regarding the fact that some of our kids are fairly dark and others are fairly light. Most comments are regarding Mia, who is super duper light, given that her dad is black. My husband gets the most annoying comments when people ask "are you sure she's yours?" That one is really irritating.

I used to get asked if I adopted while shopping with Sara , she really does not look anything like me so I could see how they would wonder. it was still a bit annoying though that people have the nerve to ask.

I'm not even showing plus I'm pregnant so that would be really weird if someone asked. Not that I'm saying it's impossible but you've got to have a lot of money to adopt an embryo. That's something I wouldn't do.

Nope but if they did I'd be offended. People can be so ignorant and they don't realize we get so sick of the same annoying questions and comments as if the world jus thas one race and such. Grrr.

I have the opposite problem. SOOO many people have said DS doesn't look Asian at all and that he looks just like me. I don't mind that he looks like me, but it's like...um...so what are you implying? Grr....

I get asked if I'm babysitting a lot, or if my son is my DH's little brother. I look extremely young, and walking around almost 8 months pregnant with a 2 yr old, it's not fun. The looks I get are down right rude. And the comments I've heard are cruel. People have absolutely NO filter!

I am honestly not looking forward to this. In a city that is still pretty racist, to the point that there are unspoken dividers as if we had a china town or little Italy. My DD is white, blonde hair, big blue eyes. And this baby will be half black. I absolutely know I'm going to get looks and questions and probably ignorant comments.
