Ayriana Faith was born sunday at 8:22am by c-section. I was 37 weeks I was just sitting watching tv and eating when my water broke. I called my husband right away he was close to home so it didn't take him long to get there. We went to the hospital as soon as he got here. It took us forty minutes to get to the hospital. We got there and they got me a room right away I still was not having bad contractions. They got me hooked up to everything and both mine and baby had high heart rates but they came down on there own. When they checked me I was 3 cm dilated and very soft and they could feel baby's head. That was at seven when they checked me my water broke at five. They checked me again at ten and I was 6 cm. The contractions still was not that bad. At twelve I got the epideral because the contractions started getting bad and hurting in my back and down my legs. They checked me again at twelve and I was 7 cm and I was throwing up they said they call that sick seven. The epideral helped a lot I even took a nap. It did hurt to get the epideral but so worth it. They checked me again at three I was still 7 cm dilated and she started turning toward my left leg and my pelvis was not spreading so they said I had to get a c-section at eight that morning. The c-section was scary it didn't really hurt but I could still feel them pulling and stuff. They got her out fast and hearing her cry was the best sound ever. I hated that I had to wait to hold her and it took them forever to stich me up. It was like a stinging, burning feeling when stiching me and I throw up the whole time he did it they had to hold a pan and a suction tub so I wouldn't choke. We got to come home Tuesday. I love her so much and my husband has been the greatest he went back to work today. I am still sore and I am breastfeeding which I love the connection but they sore too. She was 6lbs 13oz and 18 in. She had her first doc appt today my mil went with bc I am not allowed to drive or do anything for awhile which sucks but her doc appt went well she is healthy and she don't have to go back for a month. I will try to post pics asap I don't really know how so I will have to figure it out. Sorry so long.
Congrats on the new baby! I'm glad your c-section wasn't as bad of an experience as you thought it'd be. It's not good that you don't get to hold your baby right afterwards..but atleast you and the baby was kept safe. Cant wait 2 see pictures.
