It's been very hectic around here! Nolan Waleed was born 28th Feb and here's the story:
I started feeling menstrual cramp type pains during the day on 27th February. At first I assumed they were BH contractions so I went about my daily chores doing laundry etc. By 5pm the contractions had begun to pick up are were now very noticeable and uncomfortable. By 7pm they were about 10 minutes apart so we decided to leave for L&D. I labored all night with contractions almost every 5 minutes and by the following day I had progressed to just about 4cm dilated. At this point I had been in labor almost 18 hours without any pain medication so they decided to give me something to intensify the contractions and help me dilate faster. The IV was started around 2pm the following day and by 3:50pm Nolan Waleed was born with 3 pushes, no tear, and no pain medication or epidural. 7.7lbs and 51cm tall.
