I think I slept a total of 2 hours last night. I went from the bed, to the couch, to the bed, to the couch... I have read Unisom or Tylenol Simply Sleep (which is basically Benadryl) are safe to take, but the papers my OB gave me said don't take anything. What have you guys been taking that is safe and works? I must sleep!!

I drink sleepytime tea every once in awhile, it's safe during pregnancy.

I am having the same problem! I will wake up around 3 am and not be able to fall back asleep. Now that I have a cold it doesn't help since I can't breath.

I don't really have any advice, but I hope you find something that works soon!

Ugh I feel the same way!! I was going to ask my doctor about it next week when I see him. Maybe try some tea? It can't hurt and sometimes your body changes durin pregnancy so maybe it'll help!

I took Unisom with my last pregnancy per my midwife. One tab at night really helped!

I have the same problem, but I don't take anything, I just lay awake in bed, at least I'm still resting I guess.

Unisom (the tabs not the gel) are safe during pregnancy and even help with morning sickness
