It's Thursday here in Japan, so I thought I would get a head start

What do you hope your child (or children) accomplish in their future? What dream job to envision for them?

I would love to see my little peanut grow up to be a doctor! I would also love if he joined the military like his dad and I. But honestly I will be happy if he finds something that he truly enjoys and makes a career out of it.

Rascal Flatts Sums it up for me in "My Wish"

I hope that the days come easy and the moments pass slow,
And each road leads you where you want to go,
And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,

But more than anything, more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,
All the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
And you always give more than you take.

But more than anything, yeah, and more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

I always thought it would be cool if Nova got into quantum physics I can't really say though, I'll be proud of my kids for doing whatever makes them happy and fulfilled, even if it's not something I or anyone else would consider a dream.

Oh God, reading those lyrics almost made me cry. I'd like for music and art to be important to my child, but I hope that they let nothing get in the way of their dreams. I hope I do not pass my anxiety problems onto them.

Here's my 2 cents on being a doctor. As someone who is married to a soon-to-be doctor, it's not all it's cracked up to be. It's a very stressful and busy life, but very rewarding. My DH (and I) have had to sacrifice a lot of time apart and I see how hard it is on him sometimes, but I know he's doing something he loves.

That being said, I'd probably want my baby to be a doctor too. lol.

I have no asperations for my kids. I want them to find something they love and do it!

People always assume that my girls will have my talents. Makes me mad that its assumed that my kids don't have a choice! I refuse to force them into things I enjoy.

Love that song!!!

I think the thing I have most on my mind with baby #3 is I hope he/she always gets along with his/her older brothers. I am very close to my sister and know how important sibling relationships can be. I don't care what they do profession-wise, but being close to family is important to me.

I really haven't given it much thought, but I'll be happy as long as he is happy. (I think I'm projecting my want for a boy lol)
