So...how's that pregnancy brain treating you? Have you done anything specific? Or are you just blaming everything on pregnancy brain ? Lol.

------------------------------------

I think I've definitely had my moments of preg. brain. Of course, they mostly happen at work. I put the wrong client's name into a letter. That didn't go well.

I've been dying for some Lima Beans, so I had a frozen bag in the freezer. I put them in a little boiler with some water and started boiling them. It seemed like forever had gone by and my limas weren't getting as mushy as I wanted them to. I put them on low and went to lay down on the couch. The next thing I knew, I woke up and smelled burnt beans. I totally blamed that on preggo brain. I would have never done something like that otherwise.

Other than thinking today was Friday (even after being here and reading/answering Thursday related posts), my brain has been unaffected

Total space cadet! I couldn't follow a simple game last night.

I also really worried by DH. I'm not used to having him home during the week, but its Spring break for him. I picked my girls up from their groups and went to look at a local clothes listing for my youngest. On the way there we saw an amazing park. We stopped on the way back to play. I totally forgot that my DH would be coming home. He was scared enough to try to trace my steps to pick up the girls! I felt awful! I'm so used to not concidering him during the week and doing our own thing.

I'm a total ditz when I'm preggo.

I am a teacher, and at least 10 times today I couldn't come up with a word when speaking--total dumb words like "guitar" and "song." I'm sure the students think I'm acting funny, we'll see how long I can go before I have to share the news with them! LOL

I have to write down every appointment for baby or work in a book, on my phone calendar and on my outlook calendar or I will forget! I was forgetting simple things a few weeks ago and realized I had to do something extreme to remember all of them. I feel like I am out of it all the time. It's hard for me to pay attention!

I have gotten really, really stupid.

I already had basically no short-term memory so that's nothing new. Now i mix up my numbers constantly as well. Which really isn't the best since i work for a couple financial advisers. @_@

It's like, "oh, hey, sorry, i totally moved the wrong amount of your money into the wrong account, but i'm pregnant! You understand right? Hmm, not so much? Dang it."

Hopefully i still have a job after this pregnancy is over. XD
