I'm not sure what to do or use. I have a rash on my tummy right around my waist at my belly button. All my clothing goes under or over this spot. At first it happened at the same time that my face broke out in hives. I took Benadryl for the hives, but the rash is getting worse. It started as a tiny spot on the left side. Now it goes from side to side like a belt. It itches like crazy! I tried Aquaphor that I use when I get dry hands or my kids have eczema patches. It didn't help and its getting worse. Of course my phone is out of power now and I can't make calls to speak to the OBs nurse.

It could be PUPPPs. I had it near the end with my daughter. My midwife had tested for cholestasis as well. The former doesn't harm anything, but it is crazy annoying, and not much relief can be found. Cholestasis, on the other hand, is a liver thing and not good. Best thing to do is talk to your OB as soon as you can.

Thank you! I'll be calling tomorrow! Everything I can find is common in the third trimester. My skin isn't tight. I can still pinch it. My waist still goes in for an hourglass shape as my baby bump is below my belly button.

Any new products your using? I would try an oatmeal bath and if its ok during pregnancy, hydrocortisone cream until you can talk to the doctor. One time I broke out in a horrible rash, all over my face and hands after about a month of looking like I had been beat up and crazy itchiness and swelling, I figured out it was lubruderm the kids I nannied for parents started using on them.

I haven't bought any new cleaning or personal products in forever. Besides the hives while pg, I'm not a break out in a rash/sensitive person.

Yes, I was told to take Benadryl and put hydrocortisone cream on my tummy. The cream is working, but the rash is still there! I have an actual OB appt tomorrow, so I'll have him check. At least I can sleep without wanting to scratch my skin off!
