So I've been making my own scrapbook and I am using slot of pages to document pregnancy. I was thinking of just using this one fir pregnancy and make the last page a to be continued page an then start another book with baby life. Do you think that sound like a good idea?
I've been an avid scrapper for years! Every minute of our life is documented! LOL! So with my first baby, I had an abundance of time so I made a whole pregnancy album and then did a separate album for her first year of life with all the milestones and millions and millions of random pictures. For my 2nd baby, I was trying to take care of my daughter, so I had a lot less time!! I did about 10 pregnancy pages and put them in the beginning of his first year album. Their first album ends with pictures of their first birthday, and then from that point on, everything goes in the family album. I do a family album for each year. It gets harder and harder with each kid!!! My daughter's album is twice as thick as my son's!!
With my oldest, I was doing the paper, page protector, cut outs, stickers, etc......that lasted until kiddo #2 came along. It was TOO hard to find them time to get out all the stuff, have time to get something done, and then put everything away. So I switched to doing shutterfly albums. I probably spend the same amount of money, but it is so much faster and if I feel like working for 10-15 minutes I can! Plus those albums end up much thinner than paper ones, which I love!
