I want a daiquiri. I don't care what flavor, just not coconut... but alas... there are no daiquiri places in Seattle, and from what I know in my hometown, there's nothing virgin about the place that has them to go.
The truth is, I will occasionally have half a glass of wine or beer during pregnancy, but it hurts my tummy, so not often. GO FOR THE CALI ROLL though, it's not raw. My favorite memory from my last pg was going to a sushi bar where my friend made a nonalcoholic ginger and grapefruit drink I loved. From the look of the drink, you'd think it was a boozy cocktail, and I just LOVED laughing to myself as I literally "bellied up to the bar" drinking my "cocktail" and eating cooked sushi rolls. The looks I got from the people were priceless.
I miss things with runny eggs, rare hamburgers, and bleu cheese. Although I'm not worried about caffeine intake, my tummy won't allow me to drink coffee and I REALLY miss that.
Jillygeek! I'm in Seattle too- maybe you know the place I mention above- Moshi Moshi in ballard?
Also, you could totally make a virgin daiquiri! Not the same, I know, but the crushed ice would be so good when it gets to be 80 next week.
