Are you still eating it?

I just recently found out this was on the naughty list due to possibly badly cleaned machines could contain listeria (I'm assuming that goes for frozen yogurt too then?).

I much more prefer a delicious cone of regular ice cream but I live in the Midwest, home of Dairy Queen, and that seems way more popular around these parts.

Anyways, I'm still eating it. Trying to take ice cream from a pregnant woman just seems cruel.

I've heard that, but I still eat it. I just try to stick with places I think are cleanly and reputable!

Heck, yes. I think the risk of dirty machines is very minimal so it ain't stopping me! LOL

I am weak when it comes to ice cream. Must have my slush floats in summer from a local place! And can't beat 49 cent cones at McDonald's - lol. Now I want one.

Oh dear lord now I want some McDonald's ice cream in a cone. I'll still eat it, a few time I've eaten lunch meat without heating it up, because I never did in other pregnancies and I survived. But each time I have this time I feel really quilty!

I haven't because I'm too paranoid. I'm a freak about that. I even get worried at subway that the workers gloves have touched deli meat and them sandwich. I need to let it go.

I've asked 3 different obgyns about this and none of them had even heard of soft serve ice cream/yogurt being a risk! But I swear I read it in a parenting magazine once! lol I kept assuring them that I didn't make it up and they looked at me like I was crazy! lol Each of them said it's totally fine! 2 of the 3 said they're more worried about the high sugar content than it causing disease. I'm glad you ladies have heard of it so I don't think I'm losing my mind!

I haven't heard this, but now i have something to worry about while I'm waiting for the cashiers to finish filling those wonderful cones with ice cream... and when they hand that soft serve piled high, i'll forget all about it...

Thanks for the laughs, girls. This was a great post. And now, I, too am craving ice cream... good thing i can get an ice cream sammy when i get home.

I would totally eat ice cream. Seems like such a small risk! Although, I prefer scooped ice cream unless it is a smoothie

I had a McD's ice cream cone 10 minutes ago. It was SO tasty (though had to toss the fish sandwich - tasted off).
