Ha! Still team green here. U/S is set for July 2nd but since we are not finding out I feel a lot more patient about the wait.

We decided on the nursery colors. Beiges, pastel yellow, cream, and espresso furniture. Perfect and a little different for baby boy/girl.

The whole team green thing is aggravating everyone else beside myself and DH, ha ha. I really like not knowing, though I feel like it's a boy.

Most of my family and MIL/FIL are old fashioned, so they love that we wait! They've said that it takes a bit of the excitement of the birth away if you know ahead of time what you are having and I tend to agree!

Took the kids to see the Smurfs movie this morning at the $1 theater. It was cute!

I hope u don't mind me posting "for now" here since I'm not officially on a team yet (not till July 18) then I can switch threads... But ATM we are "secretly green" since no one knows we'll be finding out.

I think we will paint the room light grey regardless of gender if it happens to be a girl I will add pink accents to the room if its a boy I will use yellow!

Hah maybe u ladies will convince me to just stay green the whole time since I just found out hubby "who is the anti-green" team one of us not finding (not the rest of ppl) cannot make it to the big u/s. I know for us it'll be easier to prepare certain things if we know the gender before so I'd feel guilty if I didn't find out! Lol but in the meantime can I linger around here?

Love being team green and having everyone guess and give me their two cents on what they are sure it is hoping to get DH to paint the nursery this weekend. Think I decided on the gray. Hot pink accents if girl, turquoise if boy

I am secretly team light shade o' green. I know what they are but most everyone does not. However, I'll be doing a gender reveal baby shower in August so it's not going to last long. EVERYONE is pestering me to know what they are. And you're right, it is a lot of fun.

I'm team green right now because we haven't had the ultrasound but, I'm also wanting a surprise. I have one of each sex. My husband on the other hand isn't so supportive of team green ha ha. If we do find out we are going to tell everyone at the birth. I may even say I don't know so I don't have people breathing down my neck.

I briefly considered finding out, but not telling people. But then I realized I have WAY too big of a mouth and could never keep it secret!

For true team greeners, will you bring a gender neutral outfit to the hospital or one of ech?

Ultrasound went great yesterday! We have a very very active baby. Only thing is the ultrasound tech gave us a few clues and my DH analyzed the pics, which didn't contain any of that region except one that showed the legs, and came to the conclusion of what we're having. Still team green though until it is officially said "it's a ..."

I can't decide what to do!

I am thinking about bring a boy and a girl outfit. However, I really doubt that I will every get around to returning the non-used outfit.

I may bring a gender neutral outfit and then send my sister out to the store once we know. I figure we will have at least a day before the baby comes home.

So, for those of us staying on Team Green.

Are you going to have both a boy and girl named picked out or going to wait until after the baby arrives?

We have both a girl's name and boy's name picked out (or I should say I do, I haven't gotten the official okay from hubby....keep forgetting to talk about it )

I think I might bring a boy and girl outfit. Some of the gender neutral stuff we have is more worn out from being used 3 times over (I don't keep the coming home outfit for just coming home, they've always worn it more) and I think it would be foolish for me to buy something new when we already have so much other stuff! I don't go all out or anything, just something comfy for baby!

Yes, I have people aggravating me about the gender because they don't want to buy gift cards but my response has been that gift cards are preferred because I have a lot of big stuff to get for the babies since I'm starting over from scratch.

The whole clothes thing is one of the reasons we originally started with team green! I have heard of so many people getting tons of clothes that they might not even like or may not fit in the right season, just because someone else liked it! so we went team green and instead got a lot of our gear as gifts! of course, closest friends and family still got us some clothes after each kiddo was born.

Speaking of clothes... ATM I wouldn't really have to get anything. If its a girl though I'd actually have the right fitting clothes for the season since Victoria was a December baby... Hayden is a May baby so I would have to get a few things if its a boy. But luckily I have most of everything Gavin both genders already! Just think I would pick up a new baby monitor since my battery is all screwy on mine. And would go the video monitor route.
