I just got home. They said it should be small enough to pass, but SUPER painful. I'm on dilidid (morphine) for sever pain...motrin (can take up to 28 weeks) for moderate and tylonal for mild....I'm to come back if things get worse. They also gave me a shot of tordol (NSAID) to help for the night!

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers...this will be a process...a very painful process

Ugh so sorry!! I've had kidney stones too and they are no joke! That was some of the worst pain I've had in my life. One time they had to surgically remove it bc it was so large and another time I had to pass on my own. Either way, super painful. I hope it passes soon and you feel better!

Thanks all...Kidney stones in pregnancy are a double edged sword. the most common type is calcium and the body having excess but because you need more calcium while preggo it creates stones...I've passed one before and honestly I would have rather done natural labor and given birth drug free than endure that so I'm dreading this week. I don't have time for it...I've got 2 days of pediatrics and a final on Wed.

I've had to pass them before. I hope it happens quickly for you! My best advice is drink drink drink! Flush that stupid thing out, the faster you flush it out the sooner it will be behind you.

I had kidney stones on New Years Day once. I spent like 6 hours waiting to be seen because it was like 1am and they had a lot of wrecks and emergencies. I was laying on the floor crying trying to find anyway to get comfortable. Because it is pretty much impossible. People had to walk by thinking I was crazy. They are no joke in how much they hurt! I will keep you in my prayers and I hope that they pass quickly for you!
