We bought the seasoning and cure in a kit at Bass Pro Shop. Cut up some lean meat, season it, let it sit for 24 hrs, then it goes in the oven on racks that we also got at bass pro with the door cracked a little. It doesn't get as tough as store bought stuff, but we love it! SO much cheaper than store bought! I might try doing a version with ground beef next since we have so much of it. The it has detailed step by step instructions.
