So stroller wars are officially over.
We went ahead and bought the Bugaboo Chameleon. My husband got it on ebay and it comes with all the bells and whistles.

Hopefully I can keep it in good condition in order to resell it at some point.

Now begins crib wars...!

Bugaboos have a really strong resale value but we got this for $650.
We will probably be able to sell everything for about $500 in a couple years so its really an investment as well as something practical.
Trust me after this, we are bargain basement shopping. I saw the cutest crib in Burlington which had loads of really discounted baby stuff..so Ill be taking his credit card and maxing it on the remaining stuff we need.

Now mind you this is NOT the stroller i really wanted but once my husband starts his ebay thing... forget about it. lol. I just went with it cause its his first so...let him do him!

Yup Im going to get that tomorrow! You cant buy it online.

I wouldnt spend this much on a stroller but this is a man who went to sleepys and purchased a $3500 mattress without my knowledge. lol.

If he wants to pay for it... then Im cool. : )

My hubs is the breadwinner by far, and so we often get what he wants . The funny thing about spending is that I have a hard time making big, needed purchases, but I'll toss money left and right at tons of little discounted items, and that's where it adds up .

I splurged on my last stroller (not quite as much as the bugaboo, but the Mamas and Papas Sola) and I'm glad I did. It hast held up like a champ, and I'm sad to consider that I might also need a double (looking at a second hand Joovy) for farmers markets and such.

Nah we got the Bugaboo with all bells and whistles for $650. Thats about the same as the Sola with the bassinet etc. I wouldnt have dropped over a grand on a stroller... nopes. That stroller would have to have diamonds embedded in the wheels for that.

Crib wars are warming up tho...as he adds something to the cart... I slowly delete them. Its fun fun fun here!

That's a good deal. These strollers do last a long time and have high resale value just for the name. Better to get one like this than one that's half as much but you'll be giving away for 50 bucks. I'm shopping for a stroller that will last 4 years like my sons did, we spent a little more but it was worth it in the end.

Good find!

Yea me too. I had Silver Cross, Mamas and Papas, Kolcraft (ugh) and Inglesina.

I prefer European strollers and you tend to pay more for those.

Its all good.

Hope we all get exactly what we want for our little ones.
