Anyone getting em yet? My belly has been super itchy this week, so I've really been slathering on the oils. So far no visible stretch marks. But I wonder if I'm getting one by my belly button... can they start off white? I thought they started off red and angry looking?

I don't have any, I've never gotten them on my belly, but I do get some small stretch marks on my hips in pregnancy. I put lotion on my belly 2 times a day, but who knows if that has anything to do with it?

I have a few way low from previous pg. I never see them until after the baby is born. They are red then and fade to silver. I don't think I have any new ones, but I've always thought that. I wonder if pushing/labor causes them?

I have some from my past pregnancy. Let me tell you a secret It don't matter how much lotion coco butter or anything else you use if your bound to get them you will. My mom didn't have any but I got some. They say its a hereditary thing but why didn't my mom get them. Although she had tiny babies and I have toddlers so that might be something with it lol.

my mom got them. BAD. my aunt got NONE. I'm hoping I got my aunt's genes on that just seems like my belly button skin is stretched, but I don't see any red stretch marks. I've gotten some stretch marks on my thighs in my teens, but since I started using the essential oils, they are honestly so hard to see... which gives me hope that even if i get them on my belly i will be able to tone them down.

My mom didn't get any and my brother was 24" at birth and like 11 something lbs. He was like a six month old! Mine aren't bad, but I've had smaller babies. Girls barely 7 lbs, biggest boy 8 lbs 6 oz. Its totally not fair!

I have them. I don't think they're new, they're probably from last time. I don't think I'll ever avoid them. I've had them on my hips since I hit puberty.

I have gotten (new) stretch marks with every pregnancy. The first place I noticed them was the underside of my breasts. This is the reason I will never wear a 2-piece suit again!

I didn't get any on belly. Just on boobs and in pubic region. I use cocoa butter lotion.

My hips have plenty of them! Thankfully just the silvery ones though. I've had them since before kids though.

Resist scratching and keep moisturized to keep from going bad. You may still get them but they could be light and insignificant but if you scratch...you irritate an already irritated skin.

I've been really good about not itching, when I need to itch, I just put on oil and do some massage. I've also gotten DH to rub my belly with oil at night.

I don't scratch them and mine tend to go silver and are very hard to see when I'm not prego. So there is hope that even if you get them they wont look bad after pregnancy. Just know those are your tiger stripes of honor. Not everybody can do what we are doing!!!!

I haven't gotten any stretch marks on my stomach from either pregnancy. I have 2 small ones on one of my inside thighs from all the swelling I had with my daughter.

My mom and Sister didn't get them either. I also don't really gain weight during my pregnancies and start out overweight. I'm sure all those factors chime in.

I have a bunch from my first. I don't think I'll be able to tell the new ones from the old - lol. And I don't lather up, unless I'm itchy, which I haven't really been yet.

Also, a few months ago, I saw a meme on Facebook about stretchmarks being "a tiger that's earned her stripes". I liked that. Don't be afraid to show off those stretchmarks even after baby because we earned them!
